A short film written, directed, and edited by Niki Bond and featuring Monroe Hayden, Daniel Andrade, and Christian Vin Cerezo. The film focuses on two friends who both enter a contest in hopes of following their dreams, but when one friend has an unfair advantage over the other, she must decide where her true loyalties lie.

A title sequence for a fictional movie or TV show. It focuses on graffiti artists with something sinister hiding beneath the surface, calling on numerous special effects to really capture the feel of something paranormal.

A short video to introduce the Maritime Museum of San Diego. The video showcases several ships to entice people to come see the true wonders of shipbuilding over the ages.

A 2D cutscene for a fictional video game. The scene features two characters: Koujaku and Meri, showcasing how they interact both with their expressions and with the animation of their boxes. This project was a test in how to get across complex emotions in a simple, animated way.

Process

A flythrough of a cave to be used as an arena in a video game. The cave was modeled from the ground up in Maya, with floating orbs to symbolize the four elements used throughout the game. Collecting the orbs and then examining the stone tablet in the middle leads to a boss fight, which in turn opens the door on the side of the cave to reach a new secret area.
