A new YA epic space fantasy series

As a demon, Emily should’ve known that happily ever after was too much to ask for. Even after Emily and her companions saved various planets from enemies who threatened to steal their mana, the prospect of a place to call home slips from her fingers as one of her former companions betrays her and leaves her trapped in a stasis machine.

Now, after being awoken by a young man claming to be her Guardian Angel, Emily's left riddled with mysteries of what she missed. Chief among them, she finds out that the Demon Lord Orkus—the very man who killed her parents—has come to the mortal realm with the intention of conquering the galaxy. If that wasn’t enough, he plans on tearing open the fragile portal to the demon realm using the might of the ficioanima—powerful creatures that control the elements.

That is, unless Emily can gather them first. To stop Orkus’ conquest, she joins a spaceship led by the rogue captain Seth, who travels despite a bounty on his head, and whose crew includes his first mate Marty, a stranger who seems to know Emily somehow, and the timid summoner Rota, a girl who can make pacts with the ficioanima.

But even with help, can a demon like Emily really stop her Orkus before he destroys everything Emily loves—and the galaxy?
